Lige Curry is a bassist, songwriter, producer, and longtime member of the Parliament-Funkadelic musical family whose career has been deeply connected to the legacy of George Clinton and P-Funk. Known for his powerful, versatile bass playing and ability to move effortlessly between funk, soul, rock, R&B, and experimental music, Curry has become an important contributor to the P-Funk sound and its continuing evolution.

Curry's connection to Parliament-Funkadelic developed through years of collaboration within the extended P-Funk organization, where his distinctive bass playing and musical versatility earned him a place among the collective's respected musicians. He has performed and recorded alongside George Clinton, Garry Shider, Michael “Kidd Funkadelic” Hampton, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, and numerous other members of the P-Funk family.

A longtime collaborator with Michael “Clip” Payne, Curry has played an important role in several WEFUNK AD2K Entertainment projects. His work with DRUGS: The Prescription for Mis-America brought his powerful bass foundation to a project that combined P-Funk, psychedelic rock, soul, and experimental music. Curry's contributions helped define the project's dynamic and genre-blending sound.

Curry has also been a key member of 420 Funk Mob, performing and recording with Clip Payne and a rotating cast of musicians from the P-Funk community and beyond. His bass and songwriting contributions can be heard throughout the group's catalog, including The Emperor Has No Clones, where he is credited as a musician and songwriter on multiple tracks. His WEFUNK collaborations also extend to Cacophonic FM, connecting Curry to Clip Payne's continuing exploration of funk, jazz, rock, and experimental music.
